NASA recently announced that they are accepting applications for astronauts again through mid-February of 2016. That’s exciting news for anyone who has dreams of traveling into space. The agency said that astronauts accepted into the program will have the chance to fly on four different vessels:
- the International Space Station
- two different commercial craft being developed by private companies in the United States
- NASA’s Orion deep space exploration vehicle
The agency won’t be making decisions about the candidates until the middle of 2017, but the deadline for applying is only another few weeks.
